An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

So does a family vacation.

I have embarked on a 9-day trip in which I will have zero or limited access to internet, particularly during the first 5 days.  Please forgive me if I am slow to respond to emails, comments, tweets, and whatnot.

a disappointed reader

In the meantime, if you would do me a favor and suggest one article from this PoF site to potentially be featured on Rockstar Finance at this link, I would sincerely appreciate it.  If you have found one post you’ve read here worthwhile, you can help spread the word by sharing it with a wider audience.

Like TLC, I Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg. Thanks, friends!

Fortunately, due to the magic of the “Publish at a scheduled date” feature, you will continue to see new posts every few days until I return.

After you’ve submitted your favorite link, check out my first guest post.  I speak to why I didn’t retire by 40 on yesterday. Does that make me some kind of rebel? Yeah? Cool.

Hi, I particularly liked your recent relative frugality post and think non-physician above average earners on Rockstar finance might also benefit from the advice. Cheers!

    • Thanks, Hector! I was planning on writing a more pro-frugality post, but as I got to writing and really thinking, the more neutral it became. I still like to save a buck or 2 whenever I can, but for me and my target audience, those efforts aren’t going to make a noticeable impact on my life. At this point, I’m simply wired to enjoy a bargain.

  • I also nominated the frugality post. Figured if they see two votes for the same article it may be more likely to get noticed. :O) Have a great vacation. We have a mission trip next week and then back for a week and then will be gone the next week visiting my folks. My mom has Alzheimer’s and recently had to be put into full-time care. They have been married for 50-years and outside of a few business trips, never really been apart.

    cd :O)
