    • Good point. A 457(b) can only be offered by a governmental or non-profit employer. Most hospitals are set up as non-profits, and if she were to be employed by the non-profit hospital, she may still have the option.

      You’re right though, if it is a for-profit hospital / clinic or a private physician group, the 457(b) would not be available.
