This calculator was designed to give you a rough idea of the financial implications of raising children. It is loosely based on the Department of Agriculture’s estimates of raising a child to age 18. When used in conjuntion with the Added Time to FI calculator, you can guesstimate how many years children might add to your FI timeline.
