The Sunday Best is a collection of a handful of posts I share with you each week. With so many informative and inspirational writers out there, I have no trouble coming up with 5 worthwhile reads each week.
Most posts will be from recent weeks, written by physicians, and related to personal finance, but expect to find a post or two that are lacking some or all of these elements.
Presenting, in no particular order, this week’s Sunday Best:
The Frugal Vagabond discusses a number of places one could retire overseas on $1,200 a month, detailing a budget in five cities on three continents in Retire Abroad: July 2016 ($1,200), the latest in an excellent Retire Abroad series.
Two of my favorite physician bloggers join forces like Ace & Gary as The Happy Philosopher guest posts @ The White Coat Investor. Your Most Valuable Financial Asset is…? Hint: It’s not your house or your 401(k).
In an oldie but goodie, Katie Noorbakhsh, MDÂ explains how working part time makes her a better doctor, wife, and mother @ KevinMD in I’m a Part Time Physician and I’m Not Sorry.
A number of bloggers celebrated the 4th of July with an Indpendence message of their own. My favorite take came from Our Next Life who wrote Independence Day and Our Financial Independence Message.
Technology is pretty cool. Virtual Reality is Super Cool. Scott Kim @ The Doctor Weighs In explains Why Virtual Reality is the Future of Healthcare.
Have a great week!

Hey, thanks for including us, PoF! It’s always fun to think about our FIRE journey in context. We’re still early in our journey to our goal retirement income, but it’s reassuring to know that even now, we have some wonderful options around the world. Have a great Sunday!
I was happy to find your article. I love the series and the level of detail in the posts. Keep up the great work!
Best,
